We know construction can be disruptive. That's why we hope to mitigate as many potential negative impacts to businesses as possible during our project. One way we hope to encourage patronage to businesses along our corridor is through highlighting them on social media. Meet Dozer!

Meet Dozer, our 183 North Mobility Project mascot. Dozer is a key member of the team delivering mobility improvements to northwest Austin, and has a lot of information to share with the community. See some of Dozer's fun facts below!

  • Fun Fact #2: Starting Nov. 6, we will continue to lose roughly 2 minutes of daylight until the first day of winter, Dec. 21.
  • Fun Fact #3: Facts about drowsy driving: Crashes are 3x more likely to occur when fatigued. 20+ hours of driving without sleep = .08% blood-alcohol concentration. Drowsy driving lowers reaction times, hazard awareness, attention span
  • • Fun Fact #4: The most popular travel days for holiday departures this week will be Dec. 22 and 23. The busiest time for return travel will be Dec. 26. This image shows a lane full of busy traffic with cars following closely behind each other.
